In the SG 72 issued on 16.08.2013. was promulgated an ordinance with annoying long name- Ordinance on the way for the inclusion of the laboratories listed in Art. 22, para. 1, item 8 of the Gambling Act, the requirements for the testing of gaming equipment and gaming software and procedures for conducting inspections.

Under the new ordinance, the testing of safety equipment and the game software for Bulgaria will be performed in certified laboratories originating from Bulgaria and other EU member states, countries - parties to the EEA Agreement or the Swiss Confederation.
The basic requirements for laboratories are related to their ability to conduct testing of hardware and software modules in their aggregate in playing and communication equipment to verify the tests and measurements as well as to possess certification of ISO / IEC 17025:2006 or later version.
The ordinance defines the terms and conditions for inclusion in the list of the laboratories of art. 22, para. 1, item 8 of the Gambling Act, and the requirements to be met by each laboratory in order to be included in the list.
